The Caterham 360

Available from Williams Caterham

Precision, control and finesse are fantastic and are present in all Sevens to some degree, but the more experienced Seven driver may start hankering after more brawn.

With the move to more muscle, thanks to a Ford Duratec engine, the Seven 360 adds brute strength to the Seven’s armoury. Now with 180bhp on tap and more low down torque, we head into more pumped up territory, with a car just itching for the right driver to take control.

But this bruiser is equally at home as a cruiser. The easy power delivery from the 2.0 litre engine, makes this the benevolent heavyweight of Sevens. Welcoming and fun to its friends, devastating to its rivals.

The ‘S’ and ‘R’ packs offer specially-tailored trim and equipment packages to suit both road and track drivers.

The ‘S’ pack is geared towards the casual road driver and includes creature comforts such as a fully-carpeted cockpit, full windscreen, hood and side screens and leather seats.

Meanwhile, the ‘R’ pack is more track-focused and is stuffed full of race-inspired goodies that will make every drive you take an event, whilst retaining its road car status. It includes a limited-slip differential, sports suspension, a four-point race harness and many other race-orientated upgrades.

CHOOSING YOUR SPECIFICATION

The 360 is available in both the standard 'S3' or wide-bodied 'SV' chassis. The standard S3 chassis offers the compact lightweight dimensions that have made the Seven a legend in its 50 year history.

The SV chassis provides increased interior and luggage space due to the greater width and length of the car, making it suited for extended touring or for customers over 6'2" in height. The SV chassis also benefits from the additional stability offered by wide-track front suspension and increased range from a larger fuel tank, with only a 25kg weight penalty over the standard chassis.
